  1. Treat Symptoms.

We understand how much pain can impact our lives. So our first goal is to always relieve your primary symptoms- usually pain relating to stiffness, tightness, inflammation etc.

Our therapists will use the latest and best assessment and treatment techniques to treat your symptoms quickly and effectively.

2. Identify underlying Contributing Factors.

Often the underlying cause or causes are not adequately identified- and so can not be addressed. These underlying causes often provoke the return of symptoms. This is arguably the hardest and most important step- one which Mend therapists specialise in.

The Pain Cycle Dilemma

Arthritis pain, when present is mostly recurrent. The main reason for these recurrent episodes is that even if treatment is successful, it is often stopped once symptoms subside- leaving the causes of the symptom untreated.

Breaking the cycle

In an attempt to minimise the effects of another episode of arthritis pain and its secondary effects we identify all of the direct, indirect and lifestyle causes of your pain and dysfunction.

Once identified, these causes are treated accordingly preparing you for the third and final stage of your rehabilitation Journey.
